The Shahjalal International Airport of Bangladesh, commonly known as ঈশ্বরদী বিমানবন্দর, is an international airport located in the city of Dhaka. The airport is the busiest in the country, serving as a hub for Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines and Regent Airways. With an annual capacity of 8 million passengers, it is one of the largest airports in South Asia. It is also the only international airport in Bangladesh. The airport consists of two terminals, with a new terminal set to be built in the near future to accommodate the increasing number of passengers. Passengers can also enjoy a variety of amenities, including shopping, dining, VIP lounges and business centers. The airport also offers a host of services to make travel easier, such as duty free shopping, 24 hour banking, currency exchange and car rentals.
